I have started on a diet that consist of only organic foods, but I am avoiding eggs, dairy, chicken, peanuts, and olives. I’ve also changed from white bread to wheat and milk to organic soy milk (currently with vanilla). I drank a lot of milk, and soy seams the same if not better TO ME. That means that there’s a lot of soy/tofu in this diet. Could any of this cause any hormone effects? What could this do to men? To woman? Things to watch out for or to add? Might this diet need pills to act for missing foods?
I don’t want a diet pill >.< READ THE QUESTION. the only mention of a pill in the question is asking if a pill might be needed to make up for lost nutrition. There are other parts then just the last sentence guy.
I am trying to lose 15 pounds. I am 5’9, 138 currently. I know this is an ok weight for my height, but for me personally, 125-8 feels better. At the moment I feel a little bit chubby. I used to go to the gym regularly and eat pretty well, but recently i havnt been exercising and have let my eating go down hill. I plan on getting back on track tomorrow. This is what i’ve planned for my daily diet:
breakfast
2 organic weetabix biscuits with 1% milk ( i hate skim, tastes like water)
lunch
organic vanilla or strawberry yogurt
apple
low fat cheese stick
dinner
baked chicken breast with salad: lettuce, avocado, tomatoes, cucumber, red onions, a little olive oil and lemon juice.
For my exercise I am going to try the treadmill and elliptical for 45 minutes monday-thursday, then thursday-saturday I will be running outdoors. I’m going to buy some light weights too and try some strength exercises, which i havnt really done before properly.
Any advice would be great. Do you think I can drop 15 pounds in about 8 weeks?
My 2-year old hates milk. A mom introduced me the Horizon Organic Vanilla milk. My kid loves it. But the flavored milk has too much sugar (in my opinion)in it. Is it really good for our kids?
My baby turned 1 two weeks ago. She has been mostly on formula for about 4 months now and she won’t really drink whole milk. I’ve tried soy, vanilla soy, Lactaid. She’ll drink those, but only if it’s 3 part formula and 1 part everything listed above. Should I try organic milk? It tastes sweeter than regular milk, correct?
I’m trying to lose weight, and I was wondering if this was a somewhat decent breakfast? The yogurt is organic vanilla, and I mix it up and eat it like a parfait with the fruit and cereal. Also i’ll be having green tea, healthy breakfast, yes no?
I’ll be sticking to about 1/2 cup of yogurt or so to about 1/2 cup of cereal if not a bit more.
