I plan to eat like this (generally) from now on.
Today, I ate –
Breakfast – oatmeal w/ 1% milk & some honey for flavor
Lunch – half of a turkey & cheese sandwich (whole wheat bread) w/ a few carrots & a few peach slices
Snacks – organic yogurt, a few apple chunks w/ peanut butter
I also ate 2 nutter butters for my junk food cravings.
Is this a good diet?
Am i eating too much? too less?
any comments are welcome
thanks

I am extremely into healthy eating for my son, just turned one. I make all of his food from organic, no sugar, no salt, etc. So far, he has never had meat. He is not anemic. He eats plenty of yogurt and cheese and some beans for protein. I am reading conflicting things on if meat is required. Does anyone have any reliable sources on the matter? I eat fish and chicken and turkey only, so if I did start with him, it would only be those meats.

Can be pricey…mostly the meats which are expensive…I eat mostly ground turkey and boneless chicken which say are no hormones or steroids….what are your thoughts?

I am looking for ideas on meat to feed my 1 year old. Should I stay away from the red meats? How about deli meats? Did anyone’s dr tell them to stick with lean meats? If I don’t do organic, do you guys think 100% all natural is okay?
I did buy 100% all natural turkey deli meat by Hormel and there are no added nitrates. Do you think that is okay?
