I want to get into more shape, but i’d like to drop a few pounds before i get into serious toning, i’ll excercise on the side if needed, but if I eat special k cereal for breakfast and lunch will i lose wight fast? I am not a small female so i’m sure my body eats at least 1800 cals (to maintain or lose wight slowly) and i eat a lot of vegeterian foods (because they are yummy and healthy) or organic things If I can and whatnot. I’ll do this, and if it works continue until i’m satisfied and slowly move into a slightly more calorie filled diet for protein which i will need to get into serious exercising. So will it work?

I am a health freak, I am 154lbs, and 5’ 9 ½” but I love to eat, and I can’t help eat large portions I want to know if my diet is healthy, I know I am getting too much whole grain, but I don’t know if this is a bad thing. My breakfast usually consists of whole grain organic cereal/ or natural granola with vanilla soy milk, and GNC sport mega men vitamins. For lunch 75% of the time I eat kashi whole grain bars with whole grain cereal, with the occasional banana, kiwi, frozen blueberries. For dinner I eat again whole grain organic cereal. I am in the military and I am obsessed with exercise, running/ and 2-3hr a day gym work out, this is why I take whey protein throughout the day to compensate for my protein deficient diet, along with water throughout the day. I do not drink soda, candy any fast food, or energy drinks, no coffee, pizza none of that stuff. Due to my on the go lifestyle I can’t afford to sit down and prepare myself meals from scratch on a stove or oven I only have access to a regenerator. I need advise/help to get more out of my diet, and suggestions on what to incorporate or take away I know I am missing something.
Appreciate the answers, but like I said I have been taking vitamin supplements every morning for years, and my diet is very rich in fiber, and I take whey protein throughout the day
Also I am aware of this hormone in soy products, but everything contradicts itself, and health information is always changing, it is very confusing

I’m going on a diet plan which consists of 1000 calories per day. I will be eating Organic fruits and veggies and Organic protein from lein meats and nuts. I will be drinking 8+glasses of water per day and I will also be taking a multi vitamin and a b12 shot once per week for energy. I also have a great workout plan. Should I encorporate a Protein powdered drink for extra protein for working out? If so, should I include this in my 1000 calorie diet or outside of the 1000 calorie limit.

Thanks :)

I am on a strict diet, and my scale is not budging.
I do feel like i have been a tiny bit ‘deflated’ but no real results.

I am eating no fats except for fish oil capsules, some udo’s choice for other essential fatty acids, nuts, and extra virgin olive oil on salads.
I eat 2 eggs, and have a Protein shake a day for protein, and i eat endless amounts of steamed or fresh veggies and fruits. once a day I will have something carby, like rolled oats.
I eat NO sugar.
I take vitamins.

I am not allowed to excercise much since i just came of a medicine, but I try to at least go for a walk for 30 min every day.

WHY is the scale not moving??????
I am not building muscle, and my diet couldn’t be very much better.

I eat as organic as possible.

HELP!

This has been going on for 2 weeks.
I should mention I don’t eat meat.
Thanks for the answers so far, but i am definitely NOT skinny yet.
I am actually, and now get ready to be shocked. 200 pounds. 200!!! and 5’7. NOT losing. It makes no sense to me.

I’m trying to gain muscle so in the morning I have organic whole wheat bread (trying to eat clean) and then put some Peter Pan Peanut Butter in it. I hate natural peanut butter so will the Peter Pan Peanut Butter give me a good amount of protein and fats to my diet and is there any difference really from natural peanut butter? Will it add more bf to me?
thx for totally answering my question

I am female, 5’9, 135 pounds, 21 years old. I have an event coming up in 10 days, I go to the gym and watch what I eat and I am already quite slim but just want to lose a couple of pounds or so before the event. Here’s my diet plan:

2 scrambled eggs made with organic cream, smoked salmon on top

string cheese

tin of tuna mixed with light mayo, green onions

5 organic almond clusters

roast chicken with feta cheese, red onion, cucumber, avocado
You don’t see a lot of protein? can you read?
