My eight month old daughter has been exclusively breastfed. I KNOW she’s not nursing/intaking as much breastmilk as she used to, because she only nurses for about five minutes and then she’s done. She also eats quite a bit of solids. I can only pump about an ounce of milk every three hours. My husband and I have some things coming up this month where we’d like to leave our daughter with Grandma for a few hours.
Seeing as how the pumping ain’t as easy as it used to be, and baby girl would only be having maybe one bottle while we were gone, I’d like to use an organic formula to mix with whatever breastmilk I could squeeze out.
I only feed her organic foods, so I’d like to continue with organics in whatever she’s consuming.

Sorry, that was kinda rambling. I guess I’d like to know if…
a. anyone’s tried the Earth’s Best brand
b. how their babies reacted to it
c. tips on getting her used to the taste

Thanks in advance!
sweetskittlzbby: I wanted to go organic because of the lack of pesticides, that’s all. And I kinda have a deep distrust for mainstream formula companies.
jennalu: ? I don’t know how that relates to my question. I’m asking about infant formula. And we eat organic as well, soooo…
parental unit: I thought babies weren’t supposed to have straight milk of any other mamallian kind until at least one year. Has your baby had goat’s milk?
