Ok so everything I’ve read and heard from the professionals says not to go natural… like minerals and herbs and organics… because it could hurt the baby and react funny with the chemicals in your body… why is it then that everyone wants to?

My wife does not take any drugs for her allergies and I hate seeing her suffer so bad. Is there any sort of organics or anything else that is safe for her to take to help her?

My eight month old daughter has been exclusively breastfed. I KNOW she’s not nursing/intaking as much breastmilk as she used to, because she only nurses for about five minutes and then she’s done. She also eats quite a bit of solids. I can only pump about an ounce of milk every three hours. My husband and I have some things coming up this month where we’d like to leave our daughter with Grandma for a few hours.
Seeing as how the pumping ain’t as easy as it used to be, and baby girl would only be having maybe one bottle while we were gone, I’d like to use an organic formula to mix with whatever breastmilk I could squeeze out.
I only feed her organic foods, so I’d like to continue with organics in whatever she’s consuming.

Sorry, that was kinda rambling. I guess I’d like to know if…
a. anyone’s tried the Earth’s Best brand
b. how their babies reacted to it
c. tips on getting her used to the taste

Thanks in advance!
sweetskittlzbby: I wanted to go organic because of the lack of pesticides, that’s all. And I kinda have a deep distrust for mainstream formula companies.
jennalu: ? I don’t know how that relates to my question. I’m asking about infant formula. And we eat organic as well, soooo…
parental unit: I thought babies weren’t supposed to have straight milk of any other mamallian kind until at least one year. Has your baby had goat’s milk?

I am trying to decide between bumGenius 3.0 Organic and regular bumGenius 3.0. I am sold on the organics because you don’t have to mess with the pocket – it’s basically a one-size all in one and I really like that idea. Also, it has a cotton inner so you don’t have poly touching your baby’s tooshie. The thing that is keeping me from deciding for sure is that if it doesn’t have a pocket you can’t make it more absorbent without using a doubler – if that’s the case, then the cotton lining and the lack of a pocket are both pointless and not worth the extra money. So, are the organics absorbent enough to take the place of the pockets?

I probably have about 100 items to sell ranging from newborn to 6 months, A lot have either not been used or hardly used. Most of it is from Next, debenhams, baker baby, adsa, matalan gap, jojomananbebe, organics for kids.

My husband and I were at another couple’s house for dinner last night & I saw a "Conceive" magazine laying around (didn’t know there was such a thing). These friends are TTC their 2nd baby as well. My friend saw me thumbing through it & asked if I am on an organic diet. My husband was like, "Heh… no. We spend a week in groceries. Organic is 2x as expensive." My friend said sh had been told she could never get pregnant (PCOS) that when she got pregnant with her 13 month old daughter, she had just started an organic diet & got pregnant within the month. Her husband said that he told an infertile co-worker about it & they got pregnant their first month of using organics as well.

I was just curious if anyone else has had any success with it or if it was just a matter of chance for both those couples.
Heavenly Advocate– it’s not "normal" to get pregnant on the first try either though. That’s VERY lucky! Most people take around 6 months to get pregnant with their first. I’m in my 6th cycle now. =/
