this is the 6th day of being on a pescatarian diet. the plan is to go pesco first week, vegetarian second week, then vegan 3rd week and then maybe depending on how my body reacts, i want to do a 1-2 week a month vegetarian/vegan thing at least. for my health (my kidneys are overloaded with toxins and too much protien from so much meat that i ate in the past) and for the world and for not being apart of animal slaugher of course.

anyway, today i flew off the handle at my partner and just cried sooooo much! throughout the week i have been abit more teary too.

now before anyone goes into me not getting adequate nutrients etc, u should know that i take 20mg of iron plus the vitamin c for absorption and vb12, 5000 fish oil, my tofus n vegies and organics n stuff and i eat prawns and tuna for this week.

for the first 3 days i farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrted like crazy! lol it was just crazy i couldnt get out of the house! and then in the last couple of days i felt abit more energetic. today i did the best poopsie since like i can’t remember when! and it made my day!! lol i dont how to explain it its like u hav a permenantly partially blocked drain that’s been cleared… and this evening i was overly emotional…. my partner copped it but he was pretty understanding…

my question is, why am i so emotional at the moment? is it possible to cleanse and detox psychologically as week as physically? what’s happening to me? will changes be permanent and if not how long will they last?

thanks for help :)
READ before posting if u have no experience in being vegetarian or vegan.

a cup of oatmeal will give you 2/3rds of ur daily iron requirement.
‎100grams of chicken livers will give u almost daily intake of iron, but the same amount of beef will will only contribute to 1/5th of ur daily iron needs.
a small bowl of lentil salad or dahl will give you your daily intake of protein.
eating 1 slice of meat will provide the daily vitamin B12 needs 19.2 higher than the daily required v B12 needs.. 19.2 times more than what you need in a day from 1 slice of meat. that’s 1920%
animals have high intelligence and feel pain and suffering.
we over eat about 1000 times more meat than we need, over loading our systems with toxins creating heart disease, stroke, kidney failure, liver disease, gall and kidney stones, diabetes.
@karina, i am eating like a horse :D so yes… i used to be a teacher of yoga, meditation and the philosophies of yoga. and back then when i did my teacher training courses i found similar things! i dont know if you believe spiritual stuff but it feels like pent up emotions released or something… just not sure…

like what do they do, make you want to eat less (lol i wish) or what?

no i am not overweight, i am perfectly NORMAL, that is the problem. i weight 110 and i am 14 and that may seem ok but not for me since i am training to be a professional dancer. i dance 3 hours everyday. except sunday, and believe me, its not that easy AT ALL. so dont go on telling me i am normal, because it wont help, but thanks for the answers anyways! first one who answer my question and actually helps me lose some weight gets ten points! what other formulas or diet stuff can i like drink to lose weight?

my family is all into organics, and there is not one teeny bag of junk food in our house. we don’t eat white bread, i eat nonfat yogurt, 1% fat milk, and all the food my mom cooks is like Mediterranean and all that. we get our food at all-organic stores and not like at food4less and allbertsons and smiths and etc. whatever.

Please read first…
My Mom had a heart attack a year ago and has since changed her total way of living. She exercises every day and has totally changed her diet. She has cut out alot of fats, eats alot of organics and health foods and only uses olive oil. She has even lost about 25 pounds.
*She just found out today that her cholesterol is 100 points higher than it was 6 months ago.* What is going on?

Tomorrow is grocery day for me (payday). In geography class we’re learning about Fair Trade, and Organics, but mostly Fair Trade, and how it helps developing communities.

I was thinking, should I aim for more Fair Trade and Organic foods in my grocery bill? I want to help out, to fellow countries, and Organic is better for you I’ve heard. In my household we’ve eliminated all processed foods, and most boxed fatty, salty foods just for our general health.

But would this be a good, economical way to go, what are your opinions?

Thank you to all answerers in advance!

I have my child in Bumgenius organics right now, but he is around 35 lbs, and these BARELY fit him. I am looking for a diaper for 35+ pounds…. anyone know of one? I know about Kushies, and i know they are not good. I need diapers not training pants though. and please no rude comments.
He is not ready to be potty trained. He has a medical condtion and can not hold his urine yet.
