I’ve been trying to eat organic and clean as a ways of losing weight, but I’m tempted to try the Special K Challenge. However, their foods, unlike the organic foods, are considerably filled with preservatives, right? So my diet basically goes like this: Kashi Honey Sunshine cereal, Cascadian Farm berries granola bar, a pita wrap and milk, some fruit, then dinner of fish or chicken with vegetables. Now the Special K diet for me would basically be the sweet lovers challenge, so I’d have a special K cereal, a special k food bar (both lower in calories than my organic cereal and granola bar), then lunch, fruit snack, and dinner would still be the same, just possibly a protein drink every now and then for a snack. This is all with exercise of course. I’m tempted to try it out, since the Special K diet has a lot of snacks and food that can fulfill my constant sweet tooth, and I’m trying out a new thing where I never let myself go deprived… but the preservatives part worries me. Won’t that make me gain more weight or hold onto it more, or change my mood and so on? Help!
1 table spoon of organic cider vinegar daily?
Hot water with organic lemon and honey in the morning?
Bananas? Oatmeal? Are these good, or would you suggest anything else? I don’t feel like taking a pill. Natural answers please
I noticed some jars have "organic" and "GM free" written on them and some do not.By the standars of New Zealand’s environment is it safe to assume that all manuka honey is essentially organic? And is it safe to apply topically to damaged skin?
You would think I would remember this being pregnant with baby number eight, but for the life of me I can’t remember!
My family eats as raw and fresh as possible and has for years. The Farmer’s market is our store LOL. Well, I am now 31 weeks pregnant and the companies I normally buy from have stated they will now deliver to my door every week so I won’t have to leave the house around my due date or while recovering. I am thrilled! I was given a list and all I have to do is call them and tell them what I want and when I want it, and they will bring it to me.
On this list is an entire area of organic raw milks, cheeses and honey. We haven’t bought milk or cheese from the market in so long I can’t even remember. Can I drink and eat this stuff? While pregnant or breastfeeding? If I remember right I can’t while pregnant but heck if I truly remember or not.
so is non pasteurized raw dairy alright for me? If I can’t have it now, is it alright after my daughter is born?
TIA!
Thanks ladies. I have no problem getting the usual fruits, veggies, farm fresh eggs, etc. But the milk and cheese I questioned bigtime.
I mean, do Lipton green tea honey have more calories than Lipton green tea natural?
