I’m not on a diet to lose weight, I’m on a diet to be healthy and get rid of my acne. My diet consists of grains, beans, legumes, vegetables, and fruits. I make my own salad dressing – vinegar, olive oil, and herbs. It’s 100% vegan and organic. I also drink a lot of water and drink rice milk as a substitute for milk. I’m planning to be on it for a few weeks maybe a month. I’m a 16 year old male. I’m 6’1” and I weigh about 136 lbs. Do you think this is a good diet?
So Iv suffered from acne since I was 10. The worse is the under the skin deep purple acne on the chin mostly. I also had back acne as well. Iv got dairy out and that reduced my acne greatly.I have NO back acne at all for the first time in 8 years. The past 2 weeks I have been working on eating only organic or raw foods.
My acne was doing the best Iv ever seen than about 4 days ago I ate baked salmon. I now have flare ups and Im wondering if its from salmon. Im going back to the no meat only veggies /fruits and larabars and oatmeal as well. How long did it take for your guys acne to clear up if anyone els has done this diet?
I have adult cystic acne and have for years. I have been able to keep it under control with an organic diet. But now my acne has spread to my neck, chest, shouders, arms and all over my back. It is not ike the acne on my face but they are like blisters and they leave white scars when they are gone. They get way worse and itch way more after sun exposure. I went to the dermatologist and she said it was not sun poisoning but acne… I am so confused I never got this when I used a tanning both to help my acne. This only happens in the summer and happens to my cousin too. I am not on any meds and use a 3-step system every day and also use organic vit a serum.
I have had acne for about 10 years and nothing I use seems to work. I’ve tried changing my diet to more natural organic foods, I don’t take showers in really hot water anymore, I wash my face twice a day. I could use some suggestions for anyone about treatments people have used and also if proactive has worked for you. I’m at my wits end and I’m an adult now and this is so embarrassing for me! Thank you.
I have switched to an unprocessed, natural, mostly organic diet (including 5 fruits/5veggies everyday) and I paired it along with frequent exercise and 8 hours of sleep everyday. My acne has cleared up by about 90%, but I still get those occasional zits and I can’t stand it! I have one on my chin right now and I can feel one forming on my forehead. WHAT ELSE CAN I DO? I feel like i’m just stuck because of my genetics and environment – my dad, mom and sister had HORRIBLE acne in their teens and I live in a very hot and humid area. I’m 19 years old. Thanks!
I am doing a detox diet that consists of limiting some foods, lemon water, detoxifying tea once daily and a colon detox pill each day. How long should I do this diet?
This is my first time to do a detox diet and I have been doing it for three days so far. I’m used to eating pretty healthy and organic, so my only side effects have been a little bit of an acne outbreak and my breath is a little more foul in the mornings than it usually is.
Also, what should I do after I have cleansed the colon? Is it okay to start doing the detox baths at that point or should I take a rest?
