waxing

I definately recommend this product (although you can get it cheaper on other websites). I have been using parissa strips for a while now, this and moom was are the only 2 waxes I will endorse because they are great at removing hair. **and I've got a lot of it to remove
anyway, if you want to remove hair efficiently this is what you want, the strips are pre-made so it is less messy
the wax in these strips is very strong so if you have fine hair, or not a lot, you will feel your skin being pulled, but the strip will be left free of hair, which is why we put ourselves through this torture in the first place...
this wax does not wipe clean, but it does include a vial of the oil which will help remove left over wax :)
Best wax

I have tried many different hair removal products and waxes, this is by far the best
So easy.

So easy. Just use a hairdyer to warm them up. You can cut them shorter or thinner before warming if you need to.
love it!!!!!!!!!

Reviewer: Serena,
I love this product. Use it specifically for underarms and it works very well. The adhesive is strong and seems to remove almost all the hair. The few stray ones require another go. I've used Sally Hansen's strips. Didn't care for the them. The hold wasn't as good. I also cut these strips into smaller pieces and use it for the face (upper lip)and its effective. For the stinging and redness, I use ice immediately.
Love these

Reviewer: Green Giraffe,
I love the freedom these strips give me. No messing around with hot wax, I don't have to be beholden to a salon. The pain wasn't even that bad - my eyes run every time I get my eyebrows done, and with these, nary a tear. It may be a little messy, but hey, waxing always is. The oil that comes with it cuts through the leftover wax very well, but chances are cotton balls won't survive it; I have to use something sturdier. But all in all, I am giddy with these!
Very good, not great wax strips

Very good product overall.
Sticks less where it shouldn't than other strips.

One recommendation that works well for me. Instead of warming the strip in your hand, use a hairdryer. I find it to be really effective and fast!

Not a lot of pain while using the strips, but I'm used to waxing, and a lot of the time, frequency is what makes it less painful.
The best...so far

These wax strips are excellent. They are easy to use and because of the thin layer of wax hurt less than other wax I have used. Try them!
Effective, but perhaps not economical

This product worked great, with the help of two close friends, i used 2 boxes to effectively remove hair from my entire back. My back was not TOO hairy for a guy, but had moderate hair coverage overall. Took two full boxes to completely remove the hair, and some pieces were reused on "fade-in" areas near my butt and arms, etc so there was not to be an abrupt line where hair suddenly meets bare skin.

I have seen similar products for around 6 bucks/box of 30 at the local grocery store, and I'll be trying them next time. I've never used wax strips before so i have no basis of comparison. I only know that they did absolutely work as advertised.

Overall, satisfied.

Much better than Sally Hansen but not as good as Nair strips

So sad that my longtime favorite Nair cold wax strips were discontinued. They were sold pre-waxed on fabric-like strips. These are much like the Sally Hansen strips, pre-waxed on plastic sheets. This product is much better than the SH, though - doesn't leave such a sticky mess behind. Still not as good as the Nair strips were at removing short hairs. Have used these all over the body with no real issues.
Waxing your own legs really really hurts

Reviewer: Doris P. Fell,
This is probably a great product, its the only product of this nature I have ever used, but i hated it. I have a high pain tolerance. I dont usually mind getting my legs waxed... by SOMEONE ELSE. Waxing your own legs hurts like a mo fo and the results weren't that great. Probably do to user error. Try it though. see for yourself.
Better Value then Sally Hansen

So anyways, I got this from this vendor, which I didnt notice it said it'll take 3-4 days to process order... I think its actually took longer, it took FOREVER, so I wouldnt get from this vendor again, and not to mention I saw this on [...] that gives free hsipping on orders over $[...], but anyways that didnt effect my rating.
My problems with this product was that it doesnt grab every hair, and that it just cuts some hairs... I think it grabbed around 85%-90% of the hairs, so thats kindve annoying, but what I like most about thsi product is the quantity there are large strips that you can cut into smaller strips, and you can reuse the strip a second time, third time if your lucky, but only with really light hairs, youll have to dispose after one use with difficult hair.
Not great

I bought these after trying a wax that was messy and annoying. I really don't like these very much. They are easy since they are prepared and warm quickly. They don't work great on course hair but fine leg hair would probably be okay. I'll use the ones I have but won't buy them again.

I have thicker hair and this product didn't work as well as I hoped. It left behind large patches that I had to go over multiple times until they were removed
Quick & Easy Wax Strips - Leg & Body

Does not matter what I do, i still have to use rasor after all. No, I do not like this product.
Not so quick and easy

Maybe it's because I'm not used to waxing myself, maybe it's because I don't have a wax warmer, maybe I didn't let my hair grow long enough...whatever the issue, this kit is not as quick and easy as it claims to be. I found it to be very messy and not very effective. I almost ran out of strips before I was finished with one leg. I had to go over the same spots multiple times, and still ended up using my razor to finish the job. It may work better if you are more experienced or possible have a wax warmer. Who knows. I only know that it didn't work for me and that it's not really worth the time, money, or clean-up in my opinion.
Not For Me

I have course leg hair and this product did nothing to eliminate it. I am a quality auditor so I know how to follow directions to a T. The wax layer is so thin. I even took the advice of another user and warmed the strips with a hair dryer. I will give it one star for the Azulene oil sample included. After shaving my legs this oil works great and has no smell/harsh chemicals.
Not worth the pain

Review Date: April 19, 2010
Reviewer: Elisabeth,
It's been a long time since I've used the waxing method for hair removal, but I wanted to try it again because I wanted that completely smooth feeling to my legs. I chose this brand because no heating is required and it came with a bottle of azulene oil that's supposed to be soothing to the skin.

Because it's been so long since my last wax job, I forgot how painful waxing is. I had to psyche myself out each time before ripping off the wax strip. It's that painful. I remember now why I no longer get waxed anymore.
I applied lots of azulene oil afterwards, but it didn't help with the pain at all. All it did was moisturize my skin, but the stinging remained long after I was finished.

However, I would've put up with the pain as long as the results had been what I was expecting, which is completely smooth skin. But that didn't happen.
Although the wax strips removed most of my leg hair, it didn't remove all of it. There were still some hairs left and some stubble. I followed the directions by waiting `till my hair was long enough, by pulling the skin taught before ripping off the wax strip, and by ripping off the wax strip quickly each time, and it still failed to do the job.
If I'm going to endure all that pain, the pain should at least be worth it, but it wasn't.
