I am extremely into healthy eating for my son, just turned one. I make all of his food from organic, no sugar, no salt, etc. So far, he has never had meat. He is not anemic. He eats plenty of yogurt and cheese and some beans for protein. I am reading conflicting things on if meat is required. Does anyone have any reliable sources on the matter? I eat fish and chicken and turkey only, so if I did start with him, it would only be those meats.
If your going to college in the middle of no where, a.k.a williamsburg, va. Then how do you maintain a healthy diet? I am used to an organic, meat free diet mainly composed of raw fruits and vegetables. Making the transition to school cafeteria food is going to be really hard for me. And considering that there are no Whole Foods in the area, how can i still manage to eat healthy with limited resources. And as a result, how can i avoid the ‘freshman 15′?
My daughter just turned 9 months and my husband and I feed her Organic baby food…. I want to make her mashed potatoes home made and im not sure how… I don’t know if I put reg milk in them or use her formula etc. Any other food ideas would be great as well. Thanks
