I swear to you I am not an employee of the company that makes this stuff. I have always had trouble swallowing fish oil pills and did not like any of the liquid products I had tried before. Omega Swirl tastes like lemon meringue and has a wonderful texture. I could happily eat ten spoonfuls of it or more (you only need one, obviously). It is literally delicious. I wrote to the company to thank them for this product because I am now a regular consumer and I am so grateful for the health benefits. I whole-heartedly recommend Omega Swirl. Let's keep this product on the market! If you are avoiding fish oil because you find it unpleasant, I promise you will love this.
I literally lick the spoon! Yum!

My mother used to force me to take fish oil as a kid. I hated it! The taste was terrbile going down and then I had fish burps for the rest of the day. I always refused to take fish oil as an adult because of that experience.

Barleans Omega Swirl Fish Oil is different! It has a bright, tangy lemon flavor that Barlean's - Fish Omega Swirl Lemon Zest - 16oz.truly tastes great. I have to stop myself at one serving! The best thing is that there are no fishy smelling or tasting burps to ruin the rest of my day. I wish I had been brave enough to try this sooner, but now that I know, I will be a life long Barleans customer.

P.S. My daughter is a strict vegetarian and she loves the Omega Swirl Flax Oil in strawberry-banana flavor.

I started taking Barlean's Omega Swirl because my cousin recommended it. I was skeptical at first that fish oil could taste anything but unpleasant. However, I was pleased to discover that it tasted like a lemon smoothie with no aftertaste. I have high cholesterol and she said taking the Omega Swirl helped her lower her cholesterol. I definitely feel better when I take the fish oil.

We love the flavor, and the studies show great results for bioavailability of this micronized fish oil (which, by the way, has no fish taste or smell whatsoever):

Improved Bioavailability of Omega-3 from Fish Oil Emulsion Compared to Fish Oil

The Centre For Nutritional Studies
In this study a head-to-head comparison was made between an emulsified fish oil supplement (Barlean's Omega Swirl), and conventional liquid fish oil to assess potential differences in bioavailability. The per-dose milligram content of EPA and DHA was identical for both samples.
Materials:
1. 10 milliliters of Barlean's Omega Swirl: Providing 360 mg of EPA and 360 mg of DHA per dose
2. 3.5 milliliters of fish oil: Providing 360 mg of EPA and 360 mg of DHA per dose
The same exact fish oil was used both in the production of Omega Swirl and as the straight fish oil supplement.

Result:
The total percentage of Omega-3 in the blood as a result of the Omega Swirl dose was greater than that of the reference fish oil dose by a factor of 10. This study demonstrated much greater bioavailability of Omega Swirl over the reference fish oil with over 90% greater absorption.

The chart they published shows why - the fish oil molecules were much larger and did not pass the intestinal wall as readily as this Omega Swirl did, which has micronized molecules.

Just bought this product and it tastes like lemon meringue pie. It tastes AMAZING!!!! My 5 yr old BEGS me to give him his teaspoon every morning. This is the same picky kid that does not want to touch most veggies.

This tastes really great. I was totally skeptical, because I hated the capsules so much. The problem that I am having is terrible heartburn (and I never usually get heartburn).
