This is a totally perfect all purpose cleaner. The smell is delightful & fresh (it reminds me a little bit of the smell of bubble wand solution, not really basil) It's a concentrated form & when diluted with water (1/4 cup to 1 gallon water) can be used to clean all surfaces. My floors are absolutely gleaming since I made the switch to this - love this stuff.

I first smelled Mrs. Meyer's basil hand soap at my friend's house and was immediately impressed by the fresh, clean smell. When I saw it offered as an all-purpose cleaner, I was ecstatic. I bought the case of 6; it's going to last a long, long time. I use it as a countertop cleaner, to clean up spills, on the carpet and my husband just used it to clean our Stainless steel grill and the grill looks great! I love the fragrance; clean, fresh and not overwhelming, and it does a great job cleaning, too.

I decided that since I've been telling all my friends and family about this product, and because I find reviews on Amazon to be so helpful, I should add a review here. Everyone should buy Mrs. Meyers all purpose cleaner! I recently discovered this line of cleaning products and have become obsessed. They smell SO good! They make me actually enjoy cleaning! My favorite scents are this one (basil) and geranium. I also like the lavender. So I'd recommend the whole line, but my favorite is the all purpose cleaner for sure (and I'm torn between basil and geranium, so I buy both). Besides smelling better than anything in the whole world, this stuff is versatile and a good deal. It looks expensive, but when you see how little you actually need to use, you realize it's relatively inexpensive. My favorite uses for this product are mopping and counter-cleaning. Mrs. Meyers also makes a surface cleaner, but they even say on their website that to make your own surface-cleaner, you can just add a bit of all purpose cleaner to warm water. So I do that. This is why the stuff lasts so long. I bought two bottles a few months ago, and I still have most of the bottles left. And I've even given some away! Another way I use this product is mixing a few spoonfuls with a spray bottle full of water (like for the surface cleaner) and then spraying it over a sprinkling of baking soda on the carpet before vacuuming. It makes the whole room smell amazing. I really can't overstate how happy I am with this product and fully recommend it to anyone.

I have been a fan of Mrs. Meyers for years. This scent is lovely and I cannot imagine cleaning with anything else! As a mother of young children, toxicity is a concern for me, and I feel confident this product is as safe as possible. I hope Mrs. Meyers contines to distribute this prodect for ever!

Was delightfully surprised to find this wonderful product. Amazing clean fragrance and it does do what it says. Concentrated has cleaned some of the most aweful grease one could encounter - a stove hood uncleaned for 30 years! diluted spray, just about everything else. As far as toxicity exposure, please check out their web site. Am somewhat concerned about their claims without seeing the actual names of the chemicals they use - have a chemical background. But am using this product without gloves and no ill effects, and so am comfortable with it. There are a lot of other "green" cleaners out there that don't do the job and a lot of toxic ones that do. If this is somewhere in between, I'm happy with it!
