Most Yogurt Is Not A Health, Diet Or Weight Loss Food
Yogurt contains more sugar than Mountain Dew! Yogurt is not a healthy food. Yogurt should not be a part of your weight loss diet. Dannon activia and Yoplait both market themselves as essential to your diet and good for your health. They are not good for your diet, weight loss or your health. The amount of sugar that yogurt contains will make you fat. Yes, yogurt contains acidophilus, but the amount of acidophilus is unknown. A probiotic is more effective than yogurt and costs less. Healthy bacterial are required for weight loss, but the sugar in yogurt only benefits the unhealthy bacteria. www.BryanMarcel.com

does the same go for plain yogurts? also, is it just a bad idea in general if people are using yogurt for the acidophius lactobacillus as a probiotic?

Great videos as always

Stoneyfield yogurt is the best tasting one I’ve ever tried. I don’t eat it anymore though cause I am lactose intolerant.

What about sugar free yogurt?
loftymuses on August 7, 2011 at 1:58 pm
There is such a thing as plain yogurt which has no additives. It’s interesting how you talk of the distorted claims made by various corporations in your videos; however, making such a claim as “Yogurt Is Not A Health Food [sic]” is equally misleading. You would have been better to say “yogurt with added sugars, etc., is not a health food,” as yogurt in itself is quite healthy. You, sir, have de-validated your intended expertise.
loftymuses on August 7, 2011 at 2:03 pm
Oh and you’re SELLING A PRODUCT. So I guess you are out to help us rather than fill your wallet.
You criticize corporations, yet you resemble them in many ways. Only you’re pretending to expose
loftymuses on August 7, 2011 at 2:08 pm
You criticize corporations, yet you ARE a corporation.You’re just another salesman trying to pitch a shitty product. Shame on you.
You pretend to be exposing and enlightening yet all you’re really doing is seducing people into buying your junk. Get off YouTube. It’s people like you that ruin this world.

@loftymuses Not yet, but I am a seeking to become a corporation. Aceso Balanced Nutrition will be seeking non profit status with the IRS as Aceso World Nutrition. I have developed a line of vitamins specifically to meet the nutrition needs of people in third world countries. My goal is to channel the profits from Aceso Balanced Nutrition into Aceso World Nutrition so that we can give all of that money away in the form of vitamins. Best you think before you speak. Your apology is accepted.
BryanMarcelLifestyle on August 8, 2011 at 4:57 am
@loftymuses As far as what brand of vitamin or probiotic you buy doesn’t matter to me. My goal has been and will be to help people to eat healthier. I have made many videos and written many articles for my website on health, nutrition and weight loss. I have also been offered a talk show. If your criticisms were valid they would be welcomed, as I enjoy the debate. But I see no real valid points to debate with you sir, just a very large chip that should be dealt with.
BryanMarcelLifestyle on August 8, 2011 at 4:58 am
@loftymuses Please take the time to read the ingredient label on Aceso Ultimate Daily Balance. The PhD nutrition biochemist who reviewed it prior to FDA submission called it in awe, “A beautiful formula”. Aceso Probiotic Health, which I used in the video (would you prefer I go buy a probiotic when I have my own handy), is missing the “*” after “5 billion bacteria”. Most brands say “*at time of manufacture”, but I make mine with 8 billion so it exceeds the claim. One word. Quality.

As a Clinical Nutritionist for over 15 years, I agree. Great video and great point. Yogurt is generally a high sugar food and so many of my clients don’t tolerate dairy but don’t know it, and so many of my clients are shocked when I tell them not to eat it. I prefer for them to take a probiotic in a powdered or capsule form. The TV commercials are so misleading for both yogurt and dairy in general IMO. Thank you!!
JuliKeeneCN on August 10, 2011 at 4:21 am
And if you are going to eat yogurt I suggest unsweetened Greek, or almond, coconut or even soy yogurt with added stevia or fruit only to sweeten a bit. And I think the lowfat or full fat one is best.

Cool cool

@loftymuses
I am studying holistic nutrition to become a Nutritional C.P. Not only do you have to watch how much sugar in it, there are other ingredients that ARE sugars and it has a lot to do with not only WHAT is IN your food, but how those items are metabolized in your body. Despite your questionable achievements, I see no scholarly certifications deeming you worthy to tell people how to eat healthier. What this man is saying is valid, the video is accurate. Go to school.

Like I said before, very informative and very beneficial to a great lifestyle. Just stop snapping back at these internet trolls man, c’mon, you’re better than that….

@GoforEmpire Good advice. Thanks.

What about Chobani Greek Yogurt? I love that shit.
lovelyxskinny on October 8, 2011 at 10:54 pm
First off, I don’t agree with you. Yogurt is still a health food regardless. But you’re taking the WORST yogurt and comparing it. Not many people eat that big sugary calorie filled garbage you have in this video. Yogurt is a health and diet food. It does help me as well as others lose weight and I don’t eat those yogurts. I eat the low sugar/under 100 calorie ones like the majority of people.
