I live by a quote ” You are what you eat” . So, in this video I share with you some of my tips on healthy eating. You do not need to follow all of my tips, it’s good to know what’s healthy and not, and then make your own decisions as to how you will live your life and what to eat regularly.

there’s a lot of misinformation in this video. I would recommend looking at a food guide. Sugar is not a “toxin”, neither is fat. Eating that little meat without finding substitutes for protein is very harmful to your body.

white bread/pasta also are high on the glycemic index.
and just about everything is fine in moderation, like sweets and fat. our body needs fat!
and it’s been really hard for me to eat healthy because i live in a college dorm and all i have is a microwave, so i’ve been steaming vegetables, eating frozen cooked chicken from the grocery store (i know, processed, bad, but i need protein!!), eggs, whole wheat pasta, and tons of spinach.

@MissDa255 same for me. I am even u n d e r w e i g h t (always have been, so i haven’t lost lot of weight), and i also have CELLULITE and STRECH MARKS…since I’m 18 or so :/ (I’m 21 now). Why? What can we do?!

I am a veggie! Great job! eliminating animal products has to be the best thing i have ever done for myself. And eating meat actually does more harm to your body than “not” eating. If everyone knew how animals products are produced everyone would be vegetarians! Great job!! :))))

I really found this video to be helpful, but I don’t understand why you say not to drink bottled water…because I always drink bottled water, and I personally feel like my body is well-hydrated. Can you please explain? Thanks :)

This helped me so much! It is going to be a hard transition to eat clean foods and get healthy but I REALLY want to do it so I can look beautiful and FEEL beautiful in my body:)

@jlovely77 2 main reasons for not drinking bottled water: 1) the bottles themselves usually contain all sorts of harmful, toxic substances, namely BPA which has been known to cause cancer. 2) the companies selling the H2O are essentially using tap water, which obviously isn’t filtered (contains high levels of fluoride, etc). so it’s really no better than the water from your sink.

I’ve become a vegeterian only 3 months ago and I feel so better now! we have almost the same “food routine”. The only difference is that I don’t eat fish. I’m vegan for 70% of time and for the rest 30% I’m vegetarian. I also stopped buying leather stuff as you and Leyla! ;D
