Anyone who thinks that organic is NOT better than non organic is truly ignorant on the subject, and want to pull conspiracy theories out of their as ses.People think because we don’t drop dead if we eat something none organic than there is no comparison but Organic is better for EVERY living thing on this planet compared to non organic.Food grown without pesticides, growth hormones, chemical additives are indeed healthier..the way nature intended.
Keep doing it for your child if you can.
I have been feeding my kids organic since before they were born. They barely have had any illnesses and their immune systems are quit strong.
And despite what the previous posters have stated, organic doesn’t have to cost more money.I have found that if anything, foods with a bunch of crap in it cost more money than not.
I also make a lot of foods myself. This helps.

If it’s by your own growing then I’m sure it’d be fine since you should know what touches the foods you grow, and cheaper. But I’ve heard so many studies have said that the only difference between organic and inorganic foods is the word "organic" and the higher price tag.

of course it’s good, no pesticides, growth hormones, antibiotics or other rubbish. It’s most beneficial to give organic meat.

I grew up on a farm, and in our lives we always laughed at the "yuppies" who would pay twice to three times as much for food labled "organic". Why was it so funny? Because as farmers there are chemicals that are labled "USDA organic approved" which are versions of, or exactly the same as the regular chemicals we put on the rest of the plants. The difference is usually the amount of chemical, or that certain ingredients are missing which may be considered harmful.
but in the end the truth remains that very VERY rarely do we mass produce vegetables or foods that just up and grow out of the dirt with nothing added to it. People who do that are small time farmers working out of farmers markets or their own private on farm markets.
As someone who believes firmly in the disgusting state of our foods, I dont buy anything from stores. I grow it myself.
In the long run I highly doubt organic is going to be much better than regular food, especially since its just as processed in most cases as other foods, still contains MSG under the "spices, natural flavors" guise, and its packaged in the same plastic materials as everything else. Studies seem to indicate there is know measurable benefit, either.
What makes the difference is that you’re making and growing your own food with single ingredients and no fertilizer beyond what comes out the backside of your own animals.

Personally I just think it’s a ploy to drive more money out of consumers. I highly doubt that ‘Organic’ supermarket food is going to be a great deal better than non organic. It’s just going to cost you four times as much. No kid ever died or suffered because they didn’t grow up on an organic diet. I wouldn’t call it fussy, he’s your child and you do what you feel is best. Maybe I’m too cynical. Personally I would like to spend my money on a greater variety of non organic food than a smaller selection of organic.
