I've used this product for a year - and when I saw that the price was raised (in the retail store where I buy) from $46.00 to $70.00 !! I was apalled. So thank you Amazon! Also, for those who say it's too liquidy...I think you need to get the smaller bottle that dispenses it as a foam - and then use this big bottle for refill only. It works great when dispensed as foam.

I've tried all different kinds of organic products on my daughter because of her skin condition and this is the only product I can use on her without her breaking out in a rash or developing dry skin. It's an EXCELLENT product. Kuddos to Earth Mama Angels!
LOVE IT!

By far my favorite baby products! Wonderful scent, almost makes you want to eat it...definitely works best in foaming soap dispenser. A little goes a long way.

This baby soap smells wonderful. I love that all of the ingredients are easy to pronounce and recognize. Nothing like hydrochloricmethlbenzosulfite (entirely made-up) with yellow #9. My baby doesn't have much hair, so I don't know how it works as a shampoo on baby hair. I tried it on my straight, fine hair once and it left it feeling kind of oily. It works great as a general bath soap and the foam is fun.
Great Shampoo

I love this stuff! It's doesn't irritate my baby's skin and it smells wonderful. Plus I find it lasts a long time. Using the lotion after bath is even better!

I have tried several other organic products and one in particular GAVE my twins cradle cap. This is so mild, easy to use, and smells good. I will never use anything else.
Wonderful, not just for baby either!

This product is actually quite amazing. I'm beginning to have a real love for all Earth Mama Angel Baby products. This was the second item that I tried from their line and it's what got me hooked, here's why: First, my childrens skin was amazing. They smelled so fresh and sweet not just like soap. Also, they didn't have that weird smell when they came in from outside. Here in the south it seems that whenever someone goes outside even for a quick trip to the mailbox they come back in smelling almost like a dog. I hate it, I call it the 'outside smell'. It's nauseating. I couldn't believe that after they were outside walking around for about 30 minutes when they came back in the smelled like nothing. That alone made the cost of this product worth it. We are all using this now and I love how it makes my skin feel. This foam wash seems to last so much longer than regular baby or body washes. Great products. It isn't tear free though so be cautious with the little ones.

We just started using the Earth Mama products and are very happy with all of them. The shampoo/body wash has a nice subtle smell to it, and was easy to wash out of my 3 year old's hair. No, it's not no-tears, but we use a shampoo rinser for her hair and have had no problems. Highly recommend all the Earth Baby products. I've also had great luck with the Happy Mama Spray and booby tubes (which are night and day compared to the other cooling/heating packs out there for nursing).
Not just for babies!

My "baby" is now 29, so I wasn't looking for a baby shampoo, I just wanted to find one for myself that didn't have too many chemicals. This one has NONE - it's the only one I could find like that. I love the aroma, and the frothy foam, but most of all, I'm amazed at what it's done for my hair. It had been getting limp and unmanageable, but now it has tons of body and bounce! Very highly recommended!

Smells good and is great for the baby's skin. Buy the Earth Mama Angel Baby Organic Angel Baby Shampoo & Body Wash, Refill Size, 34-Ounce Bottle. Do not purchase the refill bottle without this 5.3 oz bottle. The refill bottle doesn't have the foam pump.
Extremely Safe for Baby-but watch the eyes

| According to the Environmental Working Group's ([...]) work on toxins in consumer products, Earth Mama Angel Baby Organic Shampoo rates a 0 out of 10. Lower numbers represent a lower health risk. Be aware that because it is NOT tear-free (it contains no anesthetizing ingredients) it will sting the eyes. The foaming dispenser makes it easy to use just the right amount which reduces the waste I have experienced with pour-out or squirt-out shampoo dispensers. My little ones also love the foam and enjoy "helping" me wash them. Definitely worth the expense and I will be purchasing the 34 oz refill soon. Smells good, leaves no residue

I first got this as a gift, and I liked it so much that I've continued to use it. It doesn't leave a filmy residue on my daughter's skin and it smells good (like a citrus fruit!). The only downside is that it is NOT a "no-tears" formula which means that there is no anesthetizing ingredient in it. I have to be extra careful when I'm rinsing her hair so that the water doesn't run down her face and into her eyes. I also do not use it on her cheeks and forehead... for that I use the original Jergens bar soap which is about as mild as you can get as far as soaps go.
Also, just a comment... the body wash was delivered to my house on a cold day, and it had turned a muddy opaque color. At first I thought it was defective, but after letting it return to room temperature, it went back to normal. |
Does what it's supposed to do

I decided to go buy a natural baby shampoo after reading about all the chemicals in Johnson and Johnson baby products. I just used this on my infant daughter, and it works great. Maybe not as moisturizing as the J&J but it gets her hair clean and doesn't leave a film. Plus it smells good. Another review says that the manufacturer claims it is a "no tears" formula, but mine says right on the bottle that it's not and to keep it away from baby's eyes, so I don't know what they are talking about...I would rather take a little care to avoid her eyes than to be careless and get an anesthetizing chemical in them.

Wonderful smell, great to put on baby as it is non-toxic to baby's tender skin, but accidentally got in his eyes as he splish-splashed around and left him crying and with very red, irritated eyes so be careful.
Not "tear-less"

It certainly smells nice but is not tear-less. It hurts our baby's eyes every time it gets in them. At first we thought that couldn't be possible since the manufacturer claimed it was "tear-less". But it burned MY eyes when I washed with it and got it in MY eyes.
Too liquidy

Not so crazy about this shampoo. It smells great (orangy-citrus), but it's very liquidy and is hard to get out of my baby's hair. Don't think I'll buy it again.
