FAQs
I need some suggestions on a good african black soap. It needs to be organic, authentic, and with no preservatives. Let it be as pure as possible. Thanks.

Look no further than this. "Osun dudu" (literally, "Black Soap" in Yoruba, a majority language in Nigeria) will do you a world of wonder. It’s made from natural ingredients and is very widely available. It’s time-tested formula predates all this modern techno-processing junk. Many swear by it. You should try it!

Here are my favorite brands that make both liquid African black soap and bars: Alaffia and Inesscents.
Alaffia’s ingredients are gathered in Togo, West Africa, and processed using the traditional methods. The company employs women at a fair trade wage in an area where very very few women can earn a living for their families. The ingredients are packaged in Olympia, Washington by a tiny batch of volunteers and workers who distribute it to health food stores. The company has many awesome community-enrichment projects in WA and Togo.

Inesscents also has excellent products including several liquid African black soaps and bar soap made in Ghana..
